Japanese TV Airs Interview
with NK Foster Children

LFNKR Foster Parents Meet Their Foster Children

"A boy, about 15, lies dead on the street. All his belongings are gone." So begins the documentary.

But not all street children die in North Korea. Some flee, seeking a better life -- or at least survival. A tiny few reach safety, but of course they still carry with them the scars of their early life.

Two sisters who reached South Korea recently tell the interviewers, "After my parents both starved to death, my sister and I buried them, and then we defected." The girls were ten and thirteen at the time.
